At Unity Center We Believe in the Power of Music!

At we include a wide variety of music to compliment and support the message of each service. Our in-house music staff includes Director of Music Mark Emerson on piano and vocals, Ed Chevally on guitar, Val Haskin on drums, and Steve Jacobs on bass and guitar. We also feature talented soloists who are members of our spiritual family including Stephanie Urmston, and Stephanie Sant’ Ambrogio, on violin.

Our Music and Choir Director, Mark Emerson.

In addition to serving at Unity Center, Mark also performs with a variety of organizations within the community including the Nevada Opera, Vocal Art Works, The Great Basin Carolers and more recently the Champagne Singers.

Mark also heads up the doo wop singing sensation What A Blend! that performs at private parties, and events such as The Farmers Market and Hot August Nights.

Mark says, "Music is my life. Therefore, life is good!"

In support of everyone at Unity and the power of the Unity message, Mark is always grateful, and thrilled for the opportunity to share his musical skills and abilities and to serve our Unity community through his music. Mark looks forward to growing together, lifting spirits and inspiring Unity Center through music, in support of everyone at Unity and the power of the Unity message.
